What’s New

#1 MYR 10,000 Limit for Invoice Consolidation
Overview

  • A new limit has been applied to the Invoice Consolidation feature. Invoices with a total payable amount exceeding MYR 10,000 will no longer be included in the consolidation process. This ensures compliance by consolidating only eligible invoices while clearly identifying those that must be handled separately.

What Has Changed

  • Invoices with a total payable amount exceeding MYR 10,000, as well as foreign-currency invoices that exceed MYR 10,000 after conversion, are excluded from invoice consolidation.

  • Only invoices with a total payable amount of MYR 10,000 or below are included.

  • The portal will display the number of invoices excluded due to this limit.

Where This Is Reflected in the Portal

  • The update applies under:

        i. upload/sftp/api
       ii. Bulk Action → Consolidate Invoice

How It Works (User Flow)
i. Select invoices and go to Bulk Action → Consolidate Invoice.
ii. The system will display:
    - Total selected
    - Total excluded (those exceeding MYR 10,000)
iii. The number of invoices that will be consolidated is:
Total selected invoices – Total excluded invoices
iv.Excluded invoices will remain under Unprocessed Draft.

Handling Excluded Invoices

  • Invoices excluded from consolidation will remain in Unprocessed Draft.

  • To submit these invoices to LHDN, users must proceed by requesting the invoice individually.

  • For those invoices excluded from consolidation also can be export or delete using bulk action. Can refer to release note #2

#2 [Exclude 10K invoice] To add total payable amount filter in every bulk action function

Overview

  • To improve control, compliance, and accuracy during bulk processing, a total payable amount filter has been implemented across all bulk action functions. This enhancement ensures that invoices with a total payable amount exceeding 10,000 MYR, including those issued in other currencies after conversion, are automatically excluded from bulk actions.

What Has Changed

  1. A total payable amount validation filter is now applied to all bulk action operations.

  2. Invoices with a total payable amount greater than 10,000 MYR are excluded from bulk actions.

  3. This applies to:

   i. Invoices issued in MYR

 ii. Invoices issued in other currencies where the converted MYR amount exceeds 10,000
  4. Currency conversion is applied before validation to determine eligibility.

Where This Is Reflected in the Portal
1. Invoice Listing Page – during bulk selection of invoices
2. Bulk Action Menus (e.g., bulk consol, bulk export, bulk delete)
3. Bulk Action Confirmation Screens, where excluded invoices are automatically omitted

How It Works (User Flow)
1. The user selects multiple invoices from the invoice listing page.
2. The user initiates a bulk action.
3. The system converts each invoice’s total payable amount to MYR using the applicable exchange rate.
4. The system evaluates the converted amount.
5. Invoices with a converted total payable amount exceeding 10,000 MYR are automatically excluded.
6. The bulk action proceeds only with eligible invoices.
7. Excluded invoices remain unchanged and must be processed individually if required.

#3 Implement Validation to Currency Exchange Rate if Currency Code is not MYR

Overview

  • To improve data accuracy and ensure proper currency conversion, a currency exchange rate is now mandatory for all invoices issued in currencies other than MYR. Invoices cannot be submitted unless a valid exchange rate is provided.

User Flow

  1. Create a new invoice.

  2. Select a currency other than MYR.

  3. Enter the applicable currency exchange rate.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. If the exchange rate is missing, an error message is displayed and submission is blocked until the rate is provided.

#4 Create Customers Directly

Overview

  • The JomeInvoice portal now allows users to create and approve customers directly, without requiring an invitation workflow. This enhancement streamlines onboarding by enabling immediate creation and verification of customer or supplier records.

User Flow – Customer:
Navigate to CustomerAdd Customer.
Select Create.

  1. Complete the Onboarding Form with the required details.

  2. Verify the information provided.

  3. Approve the customer to finalize creation.

Bug-Fixes

  • Bulk Download Invoice PDF Filter (Issuer) Fix – Fixes an issue where selecting an issuer in the bulk download filter still included invoices from other issuers. The filter now correctly includes only invoices from the selected issuer in the bulk PDF download.
