Enable 2 Factor Authentication

To Enable 2FA

Step 1: Login to your workspace.

Step 2: Navigate to "Settings"

Step 3: Click "Account Setting" > "Edit".

Step 4: Click "Enable 2FA"

Step 5: The first pop-up window will appear. Click "OK" to enable two-factor authentication on your account.

Step 6: Enter your current password in the "Password" field for security reasons. This is to ensure that only you are able to enable two-factor authentication on your account.

Step 7: Once you have confirmed your password, you will be redirected back to the settings page. Click "Enable 2FA" again to complete the process.

Step 8: The second pop-up will appear. Click "OK" to fully enable two-factor authentication on your account.

Download a Recommended Authenticator Application:

  • Options include:

    • Google Authenticator

    • Authy

    • Microsoft Authenticator

Step 9: Scan the QR code that appears on your screen after launching the authenticator application. This will register the app with your code.

Step 10: Scroll to bottom and store the provided Recovery Codes, which are essential if you happen to lose access to your phone.

Each recovery code can only be used once. They should be kept apart from your password in a safe place.

Step 11: Click "Save Update" to ensure every information is updated.


To Log In With 2FA

Step 1: Enter your email and password as usual > click "Log in".

Step 2: Open the authentication app you downloaded previously and enter the six-digit code that is displayed on your screen.

Step 3: Click "Use a recovery code" when you cannot access the authenticator.

Step 4: Enter one of your saved recovery codes > Click "Verify".

You have now logged in to your workspace securely!


To Disable 2FA

Step 1: Click "Setting" > " Account Setting" > "Disable 2FA" > "Yes, disable it!" to confirm the action.

Step 2: The first pop-up window will appear. Click "OK" to disable two-factor authentication on your account.

Step 3: Enter your current password in the "Password" field for security reasons. This is to ensure that only you are able to disable two-factor authentication on your account.

Step 4: Once you have confirmed your password, you will be redirected back to the settings page. Click "Disable 2FA" again to complete the process.

Step 5: Click "Yes, disable it!" again to fully enable two-factor authentication on your account.

Step 6: Click "OK" to finish the action.
